Weekly Round-Up - December 18
Posted on: Monday 19 December 2011

With several games falling foul of the weather, there were just three games in the League this weekend. No games survived in Division One, one was played in Division Two, and two in Division Three.

Division Two

Lakes United and Marton Rovers faced off and the two promotion-chasing teams served up a thrilling 2-2 draw. Lakes took an early lead after some quick thinking, before Marton Rovers took the lead through Kev Young and Mark James, before the home side grabbed a point with a goal two minutes from time.

Division Three

FC Khans ran riot over Piper FC - who are still looking for their first points of the season - winning 18-2.

In the other game, The Buccaneer overcame Beechwood Youth 6-1 to keep their 100% record in tact at the top of the table

Failure to contact referees three days before a match will result in a fine from the League.
